Description

FOR APPLE FANS

Apple Computer: Vintage Large Rainbow Apple Logo Store Sign, Circa 1978, 48" x 60". One of the earliest Apple retail signs, coming originally from a Radio Shack store in Brownsville, Pennsylvania. The owner of this store met Steve Jobs at a computer conference in 1977 and became a very early Apple authorized seller shortly afterwards. This acrylic sign is framed in metal and measures 48.5" x 60.5". A few surface marks, and some toning to background; the rainbow colors remain bright. A real piece of computer history from Apple which was founded in 1976; the "bitten apple" rainbow logo was adopted in 1977. Overall near fine.
