Description

Apollo Program: Command/Service Module Filter Assembly. A high alloy stainless steel, multi-segmented filter assembly from the Apollo CSM. Manufactured by Vacco Valve Company of El Monte, California for North American Rockwell under NASA contract number NAS9-150. Measures: 2.25" x 1.625" x 2.5". It bears four inspection stamps and includes the original port plugs. Data plate reads, in part: "Vacco Valve Co./ El Monte, Calif./ Filter Division/ Multi-Segmented/ TA125-4-4/ Ser. No. F11519-4/ Assy. Date 2-Q-64 U.S./ Pat. Pend." The body is marked: "LAP 8113/ AUG 5 64". Excellent condition.
