Apollo 11: Franklin Mint United Nations Official 25th Anniversary Commemorative Medal First Edition Proof Set Presented to Michael Collins by U Thant, Secretary-General of the UN Directly from the Personal Collection of Michael Collins. Five 39 mm, sterling silver medals in the original fitted case, as issued and with the original Franklin Mint COA. Accompanied by a typed signed presentation note dated July 20, 1970, on UN Secretary-General letterhead, signed in black ink "U Thant". Moderate tarnishing to medals from reacting to the paper COA; case with some shallow dents in the leather covering; otherwise very good.Auction Info
