Jack Lousma's Apollo Operations Handbook: Extravehicular Mobility Unit (EMU), Missions 13–15, with Signed LOA. An original NASA Apollo Operations Handbook: Extravehicular Mobility Unit, Volume I, System Description (CSD-A-789-(1)), covering Apollo Missions 13 through 15. Issued by the Crew Systems Division, Manned Spacecraft Center, Houston, Texas, the handbook was originally issued in August 1968 and revised in March 1970. The cover bears an April 15, 1970 date stamp and a contemporary ownership notation reading "CB/J. Lousma." The handbook describes the Apollo Extravehicular Mobility Unit (EMU) and associated lunar surface equipment. Illustrated technical drawings depict the Lunar Integrated Thermal Micrometeoroid Garment (ITMG) and identify numerous suit components including tether attachment points, utility pockets, checklist pockets, pressure-gauge covers, penlight pockets, and thermal protection assemblies.
