Description
Fred Haise Signed and Annotated Large Apollo 13 Color Flight Path Diagram. A heavyweight lithographed print of 23" x 10.5" picturing the earth and moon with the path of the spacecraft including three photos with handwritten commentary by mission Lunar Module Pilot Fred Haise. In bold silver felt tip, he has described the following: the point of the SM explosion as "The big bang'"; the "slingshot" path around the moon as "'Speed up to save 10 hours'"; and the separation of the LM and CM back in earth orbit as "Powerup CM'". He has signed: "Fred Haise/ Apollo 13 LMP" at bottom. Interesting for display, the first of these we have encountered. Excellent.Auction Info
