Description

Neil Armstrong Hand-Drawn Image of the Lunar Module Transposition and Docking Procedure, One of a Series He Drew for His Father as He Explained NASA's Plans for Going to the Moon, Directly from the Personal Collection of Neil's Brother Dean Armstrong. On one of Neil's trips to Wapakoneta to visit his family, he sat down with his father Stephen to explain, in simple drawings with purple ink on 10.5" x 8" lined paper, how they would accomplish the manned landing on the moon. This particular image appears to show the LM transposition, docking, and extraction procedure. This lot will be accompanied by a signed COA from Neil Armstrong's brother, Dean.
