Description
Apollo 11 Crew-Signed "Salute To The Apollo 11 Team" Celebration Program. A 5.5" x 8.5" vintage program to an event at the Rice Hotel in Houston that took place less than a month after the historic moonlanding. Signed boldly in matching black felt tips: "Neil Armstrong", "M Collins", and "Buzz Aldrin". The event featured Frank Borman as Master of Ceremonies, addresses by Dr. Robert Gilruth and Dr. Thomas Paine, as well as remarks from the crew themselves. Also included is a 4.5" x 6.25" invitation to the event. A highly desirable crew-signed collectible from an event that occurred only two days after the crew were removed from quarantine. Light stain on front center, otherwise very fine.Auction Info
