Description
Gold NASA Flight Suit. A NASA flight suit from the late 1960s era manufactured by the Kings Point Mfg. Co. of Fayetteville, North Carolina. Mustard-yellow/gold cotton flight suit with an embroidered cotton twill 3" diameter NASA "Meatball" patch machine-sewn above the right slash pocket. The suit features multiple pockets and access points with Scovill manufactured zippers and Velcro adjustment points and a Velcro area above the left slash pocket for mounting a name tag. Excellent condition. We've sold two other flight suits by this maker, one belonging to NASA test pilot Robert Sommer; the other from the collection of astronaut Dr. Karl Henize.Auction Info
