Wally Schirra Signed Mercury-Atlas 8 (Sigma 7) Launch Cover. A philatelic cover bearing a colorful cachet by SpaceCraft with a 4¢ "Project Mercury" stamp machine canceled at Patrick Air Force Base on October 3, 1962. Signed in black ink at bottom edge: "Wally Schirra". Original informational stiffener card included. Quite rare; the first such cover Heritage has offered since 2017. Unaddressed. Excellent. Included, for purposes of display or matting, is a glossy color print of Schirra in his silver spacesuit. From the Family Collection of Jacques Bracke.
