Space Shuttle Female Astronauts: Philatelic Cover Signed by Ride, Resnik, and Six Others. A Westchester Cover Club "Space Achievements" souvenir cover with a color cachet and a pictorial "Women in Space Shuttle Program" cancellation dated November 29, 1980, at the Wespnex stamp show (serial number "0158"). It bears the ink signatures of the first eight American women to fly into space, as follows (in order of flight): "Sally K Ride" (1951-2012), "Judy Resnik" (1949-1986), "Kathryn D. Sullivan"; "Anna Lee Fisher", "Rhea Seddon", "Shannon Lucid", "Bonnie Dunbar", and "Mary Cleave". It was twenty-two years between the first American man in space and the first American woman. A great group of important space autographs. Excellent condition.
