Soviet Early Cosmonauts: April 12, 1965, Cosmonautics Day Cover Signed by the First Eleven to Fly into Space, PSA Authenticated. A 6.25" x 4.25" commemorative cover bearing a 4 Kopek Cosmonautics Day stamp and special April 12 cancelation at Minsk. The front is neatly signed in various inks by the cosmonauts listed below. Includes a letter of authenticity from PSA/DNA. Ultra rare. Very fine.Yuri Gagarin - Vostok 1, April 12, 1961 - First human in space and first orbital flight.
Gherman Titov - Vostok 2, August 6, 1961 - First person to spend over a day in space.
Andrian Nikolayev - Vostok 3, August 11, 1962 - Part of the first dual mission.
Pavel Popovich - Vostok 4, August 12, 1962 - Flew concurrently with Vostok 3.
Valery Bykovsky - Vostok 5, June 14, 1963 - Set solo spaceflight duration record.
