Description

Neil Armstrong Signed "Apollo XI" Belgium Single Stamp Sheet in Outstanding Framed Display, with Zarelli LOA. An absolutely gorgeous display piece featuring a 3.75" x 5.125" single 20F+10F "First Man on the Moon" souvenir stamp sheet clearly signed in black ballpoint at lower left: "Neil Armstrong". The stamp pictures the three-man crew and the graphic on the sheet portrays Armstrong's famous first step. This is one of the well-known Sieger stamp sheets signed and issued between 1968 and 1971. It has been beautifully matted and framed with an 18" x 7.25" (sight size) color photo of Armstrong at the lunar module Eagle, with American flag to the left. To the left and right of the stamp sheet are 4" embroidered patches of both the Apollo 11 insignia and the NASA "meatball" logo. An absolutely striking display that would be at home in any collection. Included with this lot is a full LOA from Steve Zarelli. Excellent.
