Apollo 16 Crew-Signed Launch Cover. A philatelic cover with a se-tenant pair of 8ยข "A Decade of Achievement" stamps affixed at right, bearing a hand cancellation from Kennedy Space Center dated April 16, 1972, the day that Apollo 16 was launched. There is no cachet. At left, the names of the three crewmembers have been typed. Above each are the ink signatures as follows: "John Young", "Charlie Duke" (the "C" is light), and "Ken Mattingly". Included with the lot is a 10" x 8" color print for display or matting purposes. Unaddressed. Very fine. From the Family Collection of Jacques Bracke.
