From a presidential collection

Apollo 11 Crew-Signed "First Man on the Moon" First Day Cover Originally from the Personal Collection of President Gerald R. Ford, Signed and Certified. A philatelic cover featuring a handsome Artcraft cachet with a single 10¢ stamp (Scott #C76) affixed and cancelled with the special dual Washington, DC/ Moon Landing USA cancellation. It is neatly signed by the crew along the lower edge in ink: "Neil Armstrong", "M Collins" and "Buzz Aldrin". On the verso Ford has written: "From my collection/ Gerald R. Ford". We sold one of these previously in our March 25, 2008 Space Exploration auction for $14,340 (Lot 58163). Matted and framed (both sides visible under glass) to an overall 11.25" x 8.25". Rare and desirable. Excellent.
