"Twelfth Anniversary Eagle Has Landed" Cover With Wapakoneta, Ohio Postmark Directly From The Armstrong Family Collection™, CAG Certified. A philatelic cover, 6.5" x 3.75", with the "Benefiting Mankind" Space Shuttle 18¢ stamp (Scott #1918) affixed, machine canceled at the Neil Armstrong Air and Space Museum in Wapakoneta, Ohio (Neil's home town), on July 20, 1981. The cachet features a moon scene and portrait of Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong. Excellent, sealed in a numbered archival sleeve, CAG 1002310-002. This lot will include a Statement of Provenance signed by Neil Armstrong's sons, Rick and Mark.
