Description
Buzz Aldrin, United States Air Force, White Mess Dress Uniform Jacket. This jacket was worn by Colonel Aldrin at his 1988 Valentine's Day wedding to Lois Driggs Cannon. The jacket bears the original tailor's tag from Shinbaum's, Montgomery, Alabama. The white cotton jacket has 20mm United States Air Force buttons. The rank shoulder boards have been removed. The jacket measurements are: across the shoulders, 18"; outer sleeve length, 24"; and, down the back, 21.5". The uniform is in excellent condition. From the personal collection of Dr. Buzz Aldrin and accompanied by a signed Letter of Authenticity from him.Auction Info
