THE ALAN BEAN FAMILY COLLECTION
Apollo 12 Flown Largest Size Texas Flag, Signed and Certified by
Alan Bean, on Crew-Signed Mat, in Framed Display, Directly from His
Family Collection. This largest size flown Lone Star flag,
17.75" x 11.75" in size, flew to the moon in a command module
dubbed the Yankee Clipper, accompanying Conrad, Gordon and
Bean on the flight of Apollo 12. The mat is signed in black felt
tips: "Charles Conrad", "Dick Gordon", and "Alan L
Bean". The silk flag has been signed by Bean in the lower right
hand corner, "Flown to the Moon/ Apollo XII Nov. 1969/ Alan L
Bean". It is archivally framed to an overall 24" x 19.5". A
gorgeous display piece ready for the wall of some lucky Texan (or
Texan wannabe). Excellent.
