Description
Winchester Model 42 Slide Action Shotgun. Serial no. 23149, .410 gauge (3-inch), 28-inch ribbed barrel with standard bead sight. Blued finish. Varnished walnut pistolgrip stock and grooved fore-end. Checkered hard rubber factory buttplate. Manufactured in 1936.Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 90-95% finish with handling wear, thinning to relief edges and very fine patches of pitting. Wood showing some scattered scratches, scuffs and dings. Action crisp. Bright bore.
