Winchester Model 12 Slide Action Shotgun and Diamond Tie Tac Belonging to Texas Ranger Captain Clint Peoples. Comprising: 1) Serial no. 497269, 12 gauge, 22 1/2-inch barrel with textured rib and brass bead front sight. Blued finish. Varnished walnut stock. Contained in tooled leather sleeve. Sold together with a signed and notarized statement from Captain Peoples on United States Marshal letterhead stating that this was his personal weapon when he served as Captain of Texas Ranger Company F 1957-1969. 2) Personal Tie Tac of Captain Clint Peoples. Standard form tie tac of gold finish with diamond. Riband with legend: Texas/Safe/Drivers/25/Department of Public Safety. Center of tie tac with Texas Star. Sold together with a notarized statement from the consignor tracing ownership back to the estate of Captain Peoples. 3.) Clint Peoples Fort Fisher / The Texas Rangers Hall of Fame Photo Plaque. Titled "One Man's Dream". 4.) Two laminated business card style luggage tags.Condition: 1) Good to very good. Retaining approximately 40-50% finish, the balance a gray patina. Stocks are fine with minor scratches and handling wear. Action crisp. 2) Fine. 3.) Good. Showing wear and light fading. 4.) Very good. One showing light fading.
