Description
Engraved Winchester Model 12 Slide Action Shotgun.Serial no. 1228380 [barrel and receiver], 12 gauge [ 2 3/4-inch], 27 1/2-inch barrel with ventilated rib, bead sights and The Polychoke Deluxe adjustable choke. Blued and coin finish. Elaborately scroll engraved barrel, receiver and triggerguard. Fowl scenes to each side of receiver, left side accented in gilt. Checkered walnut pistolgrip stock and fore-end. Scroll carved hard rubber grip cap. Ventilated Pachmayr rubber recoil pad. Weight: 8 pounds, 13 ounces. Pull: 14 3/4-inches. Manufactured in 1950. From The Estate of Ronald Martin.
Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 96-98% finish, with scattered handling wear and patches of pitting. Scuffs and scratches present to wood. Action crisp. Bright bore.
