Description
Custom Engraved Winchester Model 12 Slide Action Shotgun.Serial no. 1253132 [barrel and receiver], 12 gauge [2 3/4-inch], 28-inch barrel with full choke and Lyman Cutts flash suppressor. Blued finish. Elaborately scroll engraved barrel, receiver and triggerguard. Game and fowl scenes to each side of receiver. Checkered walnut pistolgrip stock with carved fowl scene to right side. Grooved fore-end with carved scroll and blank diamond-shaped silver escutcheon. Ventilated Pachmayr rubber recoil pad. Weight 8 pounds. Pull: 13 3/4-inches. From The Estate of Ronald Martin.
Condition: Good. Retaining approximately 80-85% finish, with thinning to relief edges, handling wear and fine patches of pitting. Noticeable scuffs, scratches and dings present to wood. Action crisp. Bright bore.
