Description
Remington Model 11 U.S. Navy Semi-Automatic Shotgun.Serial no. 472027, 12 gauge [2 3/4-inch], 25-inch barrel with fixed front bead sight and Lyman flash suppressor. Blued finish. Engraved game scene to each side of receiver. Top of barrel marked: PROPERTY U.S. NAVY. U.S. and (flaming bomb) stamped to left side of receiver. Checkered walnut pistolgrip stock and fore-end. Ordnance stamp and FJA to left side of stock. Pachmayr ventilated rubber recoil pad.
Condition: Good. Retaining approximately 80-85% finish with scattered signs of handling wear and fine patches of pitting. Heavy scuffs, dings and bruising present to wood. Action good. Strong bore. P-0196 poorly engraved to right side of receiver and barrel.
