W.W. Greener Double Barrel Percussion Shotgun.
Serial no. 41390 [barrels, receiver, fore-end and lower tang], 12 gauge, 30-inch barrels with matted rib and front and rear white bead sights. Damascus finish. Top of barrel marked: W.W. GREENER . HAYMARKET LONDON & ST. MARY'S SQUARE BIRMINGHAM. ENGLAND. WINNER AT THE LONDON GUN TRIALS. 1875, 1877, 1878 & 1879. Elaborately scroll and game scene engraved receiver, triggerguard and safety switch. Scroll engraved blued lever, with gold-plated crown. Dual trigger. Lower tang marked: LIST NO. 1. Checkered walnut pistolgrip stock and splinter fore-end. Blank brass escutcheon to base of stock. Pachmayr ventilated rubber recoil pad. Weight: 7-pounds, 12-ounces. Length of pull: 14 1/4-inches.

Condition: Very good to fine. Overall showing normal age, handling wear and scattered patches of pitting. Heavy scuffs and dings present to wood. Unlocking lever needs adjustment. Bright bores.
