Pietro Beretta Silver Snipe Over & Under Shotgun.Serial no. A17929 [barrels, receiver and fore-end], 12 gauge, 28-inch barrels with ventilated rib and fixed bead sights. Blued finish. Gold-plated trigger. Lightly engraved stainless steel receiver. Checkered walnut pistolgrip stock and fore-end. Factory checkered hard-rubber butt. Length of pull: 14 1/8-inches. Weight: 7-pounds, 7-ounces. Original brass museum inventory tag attached: J.M. DAVIS / 8259 / MEMORIAL.
Sold to Benefit The JM Davis Collection at the JM Davis Arms and Historical Museum.
Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 96-98% finish, with a few scuffs, handling wear and fine patches of pitting. Scattered scratches and dings present to wood. Action crisp. Bright bore.
