Serial no. 21651, 16 gauge smoothbore and .44 caliber rifled bore, 26 1/2-inch barrels with fixed front and rear sights. Peep sight. Damascus and blued finish. Coin-finished receiver. Dual triggers. Checkered walnut straight stock and splinter fore-end. Scroll engraved metal buttplate. Sling swivels. Original brass museum inventory tag attached: J.M. DAVIS / 8410 / MEMORIAL.
Sold to Benefit The JM Davis Collection at the JM Davis Arms and Historical Museum.

Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 80-85% dulling damascus finish, the balance a smooth grey patina with scattered signs of handling wear and patches of pitting. Scuffs and dings present to wood. Some minor loss to fore-end edges. Action good. Bright bores.
