French Double Barrel Hammer Shotgun by A. Grenoble. NVSN, 12 gauge, 32-inch damascus barrels. Plum brown damascus barrels. Lightly engraved hammers, triggerguard and sidelocks marked: A. GRENOBLE on the left and BRUN on the right. Figured folk engraved wood stock with checkering and hunting game scenes with fine pattern. Steel buttplate. Sling swivels. Wooden ramrod with brass 1-inch tip. Property from the Estate of John R. Eckel, Sr.

Condition: Fair to good. Showing traces of plum brown to damascus. Light surface rust present. Wood with dings and marks, a few stress cracks to wood between left barrel and lockplate. Ramrod replaced. Action needs adjustment. Bores dark.
