Description
Engraved Parker Bros. VH Grade Double Barrel Shotgun.Serial no. 240861 [receiver, barrels and fore-end], 20 gauge barrels with textured rib and fixed bead sights. Blued finish. Elaborately scroll engraved receiver with gilt accented game scenes. Gilt floral designs to triggerguard and lower tang. Checkered walnut straight stock and beavertail fore-end. Silver badge escutcheon to base of stock, marked: TP. Checkered butt. Length of pull: 14 1/4-inch. Weight: 7-pounds.
Condition: Good as partially refinished. Retaining approximately 85-90% finish with a few thin spots, handling wear and very fine patches of pitting. Right barrel inside has few imperfections. Scattered scuffs and scratches present to wood. Action good. Strong bores [as noted].
