Engraved Holland & Holland 1922 Royal Brevis Self Opening Double Barrel Shotgun.Serial no. 33388 [barrels, receiver and lower tang], 12 gauge, 26-inch barrels with textured rib and fixed bead sights. Blued finish. Elaborately scroll engraved coin-finished receiver. Each side marked: HOLLAND & HOLLAND, base of receiver marked: ROYAL / SELF OPENER / PATENT / 1922 / HOLLAND'S / SINGLE / TRIGGER. ROYAL BREVIS to top of right barrel. Scroll engraved and blued finished lever and triggerguard. Checkered walnut straight stock and splinter fore-end. Blank oval escutcheon to base of stock. Rubber recoil pad. Barrels stamped 2 1/2 CHOKE / .850 BAR. Length of pull: 14-inches. Weight: 6-pounds, 8-ounces.
Condition: Very good to excellent. Overall showing light handling wear and a few minor scratches. Crisp action. Bright bores. Collection of a Southern Gentleman.
