Cased Holland & Holland Dominion Sidelock C Grade Double Barrel Shotgun.Serial no. 24979, 12 gauge, 30-inch barrels with smooth concave rib and front bead sight. Blued finish. Top of barrels marked: HOLLAND & HOLLAND / 98 NEW BOND STREET, LONDON. Non-ejector. Back action sidelocks. Light border scroll engraving to receiver. Water table marked C GRADE. Single trigger. Auto safety. Nicely figures checkered walnut straight stock and splinter fore-end. Grooved hard rubber buttplate. Base of stock features silver escutcheon with the initials M.H. accented in gilt. Choke: 0.009 / 0.020 (Improved Cylinder / Modified). Wall thickness: 0.026 (right) and 0.0.25 (left). Bore diameter: .735 and .735. Pull: 13 7/8-inch. Weight: 6 pounds, 9 ounces. Contained in leather makers fitted hard case with interior label and maroon lining.

Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 96-98% finish with scattered scratches and very fine pitting. Scuffs and dings to wood. Noticeable cracks at horns. Horns do not fit at top of action. Poor checkering repair. Action good. Bright bore. Storage wear present to case.
