Description
Cased Darne / Bruchet Sliding Breech Double Barrel Shotgun.Serial no. 002, 28 gauge [2 3/4-inch], 26 3/4-inch barrels with front white bead sight. Blued finish. Coin finished receiver and breech. Floral and scroll engraving to receiver and triggerguard, with woodcock to top of breech, signed by G. Ripomonte. Fire-blued double triggers. Finely checkered exhibition-grade French walnut stock with horn fore-end tip and buttplate. Chokes: 0.013/0.032 inches (Modified / Full). Pull: 15 1/8-inches. Weight: 5 pounds, 7 ounces. Contained in makers fitted take down hard case.
