Cased .410 W. Powell Boxlock Double Barrel Shotgun.
Serial no. 13362 (circa 1922). .410 bore. 28-inch barrels with smooth concave game rib marked: W. Powell & Son, Birmingham. Casehardened small frame boxlock action with border engraving and foliate scroll details. Extractor. Automatic safety. Checkered straight grip stock of straight grain walnut with a 1 1/8-inch wood extension. Grooved butt. Vacant nickel silver oval. Checkered splinter snap fore-end. Later gold canvas covered trunk case with maroon interior and brass hardware. Data: Proof: Birmingham Nitro, .405/.405, 2 1/2. Pull: 13 1/4 inches. Weight: 4 pounds 3 ounces.

Condition: Very Good, Barrels show 99% bluing. Excellent bright bores. Action showing 60-70% muted case colors. Floorplate shows 90% bluing and triggerguard shows 70-80% bluing. Wood shows a few light marks and a small 1/2-inch deep scratch on the right side.
