Description
Belgian Browning Lightning Model Over and Under shotgun.Serial no. 15969 S3, 12 gauge [2 3/4-inch], 32-inch barrels with ventilated rib and white bead sights. Blued finish. Scroll engraved receiver and triggerguard. Left side marked:JOE RUBERT. Right side dated: MARCH 30, 1940. Gold-plated trigger. Checkered walnut pistolgrip stock and fore-end. Pachmayr rubber recoil pad. Length of pull: 14 1/4-inches. Weight: 8 1/2 pounds.
Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 92-94% finish with light handling wear and noticeable thinning to base of receiver. Fine pitting to fore-end release. Few minor dings to wood. Large nick to left side of wrist. Action good. Strong bore.
