Description
Baker Batavia N.Y. Double Barrel Shotgun.Unserialized, 12-gauge, 30-inch damascus barrels with textured rib and front bead sight. Left side of receiver marked: BATAVIA LEADER and BATAVIA, N.Y. to right side. Dual triggers. Craved hardwood pistolgrip stock and fore-end. Left side of stock features a carved floral design and the initials B.J.B. Checkered hard rubber buttplate. Length of pull: 13 3/4-inches. Weight: 8 1/2-pounds. Property of a West Texas collector.
Condition: Good. Finish a thinning damascus, the balance a mottled grey patina with noticeable wear and pitting. Minor scuffs and dings to wood. Action good. Strong bore.
