Description
12 Gauge Parker DHE Double Barrel Shotgun. Serial no. 202819, 12 gauge, Shortened 28-inch Titanic barrels with matted concave rib and later insert chokes. Case-hardened number 2 action engraved with fine foliate scroll and game scenes of dogs on the sides and pheasants on the triggerplate. Ejectors. Non-automatic safety. Checkered pistolgrip stock of figured dark walnut. Later one-inch recoil pad. Hard rubber grip cap. Vacant oval. Checkered splinter fore-end. Note: The Parker Identification and Serialization Book states that this gun was a DHE and had 32-inch Titanic steel barrels, extractor, and extra barrels. Data: Barrel Dimensions: Bores: 0.733/0.734-inches. Chokes: Insert 0.005/0.012-inches. Chambers: 3-inches. Minimum wall thickness: 0.028 inches. Stock Dimensions: Pull: 14-inches. Drop at comb: 1 5/8-inches. Drop at heel: 1 7/8-inches. Cast: None. Weight: 7 pounds, 8 ounces. Condition: Very Good, as partially redone. Barrels shows 94-96% reblued finish with a number of very small older pits. Excellent bright bores. Action, triggerguard, fore-end iron and furniture show a silver gray patina. Stock shows a number of light to deep nicks, medium to light scratches and various handling marks. Fore-end shows a few light handling marks.Auction Info
