Description
12 Gauge L.C. Smith Monogram Sidelock Ejector Double Barrel Shotgun. Serial no. RE107528. 12 Gauge. 30-inch barrels with matted ventilated rib and dual beads. Casehardened sidelock action engraved with fine foliate scroll with games scenes of quail and grouse on tapered locks. Ejectors. Single selective trigger. Non-automatic safety. Checkered straight grip stock of straight grained with some areas of figure. Vacant gold-plated shield. Decelerator recoil pad. Beaver-tail fore-end. Data: Bore dimensions: 0.730/0.733 inches. Chokes: 0.033/0.036 inches (Improved Modified/Full). Pull: 14 ½ inches. Weight: 8 pounds, 4 ounces.Condition: Fine, as partially redone. Barrels show 85-90% reblued finish with majority of losses at the fore-end and with some light marks. Excellent bright bore. Action and locks shows a silver patina with some traces of case colors. Reblued triggerguard. Left lock shows some marks. Refinished stock shows some cracks at rear of the locks and gaps around the locks. Stock and fore-end show some very light marks.
