Serial no. 3567 S9. 12 Gauge. 28-inch barrels with matted ventilated rib. Later insert chokes. Silver-gray boxlock action engraved with standard Diana grade pattern of ducks and pheasants in woodland settings, signed by L Lambert. Floorplate with pigeons and triggerguard with hares. Ejectors. Gold plated single selective trigger. Non-automatic safety. Finely checkered pistol grip stock of highly figured walnut. Maker's hard rubber buttplate. Round knob. Short tang. Finely checkered enlarged fore-end. Data: Barrel Dimensions: Bore diameters: 0.728/0.726 inches. Insert chokes: 0.022/0.013 inches (Improved Modified/Modified). Chambers: 2 ¾ inches. Stock Dimensions: Pull: 14 3/8 inches. Drop at comb: 1 ½ inches. Drop at heel: 2 3/8 inches. Cast-off: None. Weight: 7 pounds, 10 ounces.
Condition: Excellent, as partially redone. Barrels show 98-99% bluing with losses under the fore-end. Excellent bright bores. Breech face shows slight spotting and recoil rings. Refinished stock and fore-end show a very few very light marks.
