Serial no. 18335, 12 gauge, 30-inch barrels with a smooth concave rib marked: Charles Boswell, London, England. Brush bright boxlock action engraved with 50% foliate scroll coverage. Blued floorplate, top lever and trigger guard. Ejectors. Automatic safety. Checkered half-pistol grip stock of slightly figured walnut. Vacant nickel silver oval. Grooved butt. Sling swivels. Checkered splinter fore-end.
Data: Barrel Dimensions: Bore diameter: 0.031/0.31-inches. Chokes: 0.003/0.031-inches (Cylinder/Improved Modified). Chambers: 2 3/4-inches. Minimum wall thickness: 0.027-inches. Proof: Birmingham, Nitro, 12, 12, 2 3/4", 1 1/4 oz. 12c. Stock dimensions: Pull: 13 5/8-inches. Drop at comb: 1 3/8-inches. Drop at heel: 1 7/8-inches. Cast-off: 1/4-inch. Weight: 6 pounds, 15 ounces.
Condition: Excellent, as partially redone. Barrels show 98-99% reblued finish with some light pitting under the fore-end. Excellent bright bores. Floorplate, triggers, triggerguard, toplever and fore-end furniture show 99% reblued finish. Refinished stock and fore-end shows a few very light marks. Refreshed checkering.
