Description
William McKinley: Elusive Mechanical Bicycle. This is the matching bike to the Bryan and Sewall version offered in this sale. This version has "Hanna" as the rider, which was most appropriate as the Ohio industrialist financed and orchestrated the Republican presidential campaign of 1896. There is a slight fissure or tear in the left side of the McKinley portrait, but this remains a fine example, better than most. This is the Hake Book plate example.Auction Info
