Description

William Henry Harrison: Pewter Rim Sulphide Medallion. 1 5/8" back-to-back Harrison sulphide portrait medallion. The obverse depicts Harrison in uniform, inscribed "Maj. Gen. W. H. Harrison Born Feb. 9, 1773". The reverse depicts the log cabin and cider barrel, inscribed "The Peoples Choice The Hero of Tippecanoe". This is a superb example in mint condition, dare we say unimprovable. A key piece from this pivotal election. Heritage sold the Joe Brown Collection example in out December 2005 auction for $11,950.
