[Civil War Era] "The Wealth of the South" Token. JCB-1860-7, 22mm, copper. Though diminutive, this token is incredibly detailed. Obverse features the inscription "No Submission to the North 1860" around a South Carolina palmetto tree and cannon. Cotton plants and other crops are depicted on reverse with the inscription "The Wealth of the South/ Rice, Tobacco, Sugar, Cotton." Token is in great condition, retaining much of its detailed artistic elements. No minimum bid. From the J.Doyle Dewitt Collection.
