Description
Zachary Taylor: Exceptional Bandanna. "Genl. Z. Taylor" is featured in the center of this 25" x 29 1/2" cotton bandanna printed in blue and brown. He stands in a military setting. The four corners have vignettes of his victories in the Mexican War: Resaca de la Palma, Palo Alto, Buena Vista, and the Storming of the Heights at Monterey. Taylor is prominently shown in three of these vignettes. It is in mint condition and a choice piece in all respects. This is the Hake book plate specimen.Auction Info
