Description
William Henry Harrison: Imposing "Bandanna-Banner". Jaded as we are, we are nonetheless quite impressed with this Harrison textile. It is Threads #118, measuring 22.5" x 28.5". It is quite tall - not your usual bandanna format - and more akin to a flag or banner. It is made of silk and printed in three shades of brown, yellow and blue. The vignette below the portrait shows the candidate at his plow, a log cabin, military tents in the distance and a flag inscribed "Harrison & Tyler". Outside of some light aging or damp stains and a few teensy holes in the background, it is in excellent shape. This is a rare opportunity to acquire a magnificent Harrison campaign textile.Auction Info
