Description
Garfield & Arthur: Jugate Bunting Quilt. 67" x 83" padded bed cover or quilt honoring the 1880 Republican nominees. The top side has vertical panels of multi-colored bunting material. Four complete portraits of Garfield are on the left border and an equal number of Arthur portraits are on the right border. There are seven panels or vertical columns on the front. The back side has two types of ticking with geometric designs. There is some light fading and damp stains, as well as a darker stain in the middle. There is also a vertical rip along the left central edge, as shown. A unique handiwork.Auction Info
