Description

Abraham Lincoln: A Significant Variant of this Classic 1860 Campaign Flag. 17" x 11" glazed cotton flag inscribed "Lincoln and Hamlin." in curved letters with the canton positioned in the correct corner (unlike most others we have handled). Features a five-pointed "Great Star" pattern with a total of 33 stars, graphically arranged. This is a marquee addition to the most advanced & sophisticated collection. Similar to Threads #296, but unlisted with the canton in the left hand corner. Some light age. Exceptional vibrant colors secured to original 28" long, wood dowel.

Condition: A whisper of scattered age as expected, but overall we can scarcely imagine a finer example.
