Headley, New York, Charles Scribner, 1861, bound in purple embossed cloth, 202pp. 3) 5" x 7.5" book "The Lives of Winfield Scott and Andrew Jackson" by J. T. Headley, New York, Charles Scribner, 1852, bound in brown embossed cloth. 341pp. 4) 5" x 7.5" two-volume work "Memoirs of Lieut.-General Scott, LL.D." written by Himself, New York, Sheldon & Company, 1864, bound in purple embossed cloth. Volume 1 is inscribed by the author on the flyleaf "To Denning Duer, Esquire from his friend Winfield Scott." Tipped-in errata sheet.Condition: #2 faded spine. #3 detached spine with bumped corners. #4 fading to spines.
