Description
William Henry Harrison: Anti-Van Buren Metamorphic Card. 3" x 5" mechanical cartoon card showing a smiling Van Buren drinking "A Beautiful Goblet Of Whitehouse Champagne". Pull the tab at the bottom and we see him drinking "An Ugly Mug of Log Cabin Hard Cider". The first in a series of such before-and-after cards issued by David Claypoole Johnston. Damp stain at top and upper right corner with inconsequential edge tear at bottom. Overall a nice example.Auction Info
