Lincoln & Hamlin: Republican Banner for 1860. 10 1/4" x 13 1/2" hand-colored Currier & Ives small folio print titled: "The Republican Banner for 1860". Part of the "Grand National Banner" series, it depicts the 1860 Republicans, Lincoln and Hamlin. Moderate, even toning. Good colors with traces of gum arabic. Trimmed somewhat close at bottom, but title is complete. Teensy hole from insect damage at upper right corner, of no consequence. Housed in original frame with wood panel back board.
