Description
Abraham Lincoln: Invitation to the White House. 5 1/2" x 3 3/4" engraved invitation on card stock, issued toSecretary of the Navy Gideon Welles. The invitation was tendered by "The President & Mrs. Lincoln" for a dinner to be held on February 8, 1865. Light aging, but quite clean. Lincoln White House invitations are very rare and seldom offered. Ex: Estate of Gideon Welles.
