William Howard Taft: Three 1908 Taft Post Cards. Three post cards featuring the Republican candidate for president in 1908. Two fabric covered cards picture Taft in the same pose but wearing different color outfits. A third card pictures Taft with vice presidential nominee James Sherman, Illinois Governor Charles Deneen, and "Uncle Joe" Cannon, also from Illinois and Speaker of the House of Representatives from 1903 to 1911. Condition on the three cards is good to very good, all three have been postally used.Auction Info
