John F. Kennedy: President Kennedy's Trip To Dallas November 22, 1963. A poignant group of material from President Kennedy's Texas trip in November 1963. First there is a group of five badges measuring approximately 2 1/4" x 3 1/2". Two are from the Texas Welcome Dinner being Staff and Press badges, and the other three badges are a committee badge, another press badge and an airport reception badge used at Love Field. Also included is a "Press Section" ticket to the Welcome dinner that was to be held in Austin at 7:30PM on November 22nd, and a plastic memorial license plate attachment. The blue press badge is prohibitively scarce, and is only the second time we have offered it. The group is in excellent condition, and quite rare. From the Collection of Rick Kaplan.Auction Info
